The Pre-IceBridge LVIS L0 Raw Ranges, Version 1 data set, will be retired from the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC) on 30 November 2023. After this date, access to the data will no longer be available, but the data set documentation will remain available for future reference.

Access to the documentation is provided on the data set web page at the NSIDC DAAC: https://nsidc.org/data/blvis0/versions/1

Version 5 of multiple ATLAS/ICESat-2 along-track data sets will be retired from the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC) on 19 December 2023.

The DMSP SSM/I-SSMIS Daily Polar Gridded Brightness Temperatures, Version 6 data set, accessible through the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC), has been updated through 5 October 2023. This data set provides daily gridded brightness temperatures derived from passive microwave sensors and distributed in a polar stereographic projection.

The MEaSUREs Greenland Ice Velocity: Selected Glacier Site Single-Pair Velocity Maps from Optical Images, Version 1 data set, available at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC), has been updated. The data now spans through the end of 2022. An adjustment has been made to the empirical corrections applied to velocities derived from Sentinel-2. This adjustment was due to a change in the ESA orthorectification process that started on 23 August 2021.

The ATLAS/ICESat-2 L3B Gridded Antarctic and Arctic Land Ice Height (ATL14) and ATLAS/ICESat-2 L3B Gridded Antarctic and Arctic Land Ice Height Change (ATL15) data sets have been updated to Version 3.
