About Lauren

Lauren Herwehe is the Team Lead responsible for all data products derived from the Soil Moisture Active Passive (SMAP), Scanning Multichannel Microwave Radiometer (SMMR), Special Sensor Microwave/Imager (SSM/I), and Special Sensor Microwave Imager/Sounder (SSMIS) missions.

Herwehe brings over a decade of experience in climate change and remote sensing research, program management, and data science education to this role.
