All SNPP VIIRS forward processing has been temporarily suspended due to a GPS anomaly issue that began on July 9, 2024. An attempt to restore nominal conditions is expected within the next week. Once the issue is resolved, data may still be held for additional testing and quality assurance before it is released to the public. July 18, 2024 update SNPP VIIRS forward processing will resumed on 16 July 2024 at17:42:00z. All SNPP data between 9 July 2024, 21:42 to 16 July 2024,17:42z will be hidden, due to an unrecoverable geolocation error and invalid timestamps in packets.
