The Antarctic Glaciological Data Center (AGDC) at NSIDC has released a new data set, Millennially Averaged Accumulation Rates for Lake Vostok. This data set consists of accumulation rates, inferred from radar data from three layers (26, 35 and 41 thousand years old) in the Vostok Subglacial Lake region.
NOAA@NSIDC and the Roger G. Barry Resource Office for Cryospheric Studies (ROCS) are pleased to announce the launch of the ROCS Archives Catalog; and with this, the completion of the International Polar Year Historical Data and Literature project - formerly known as DAHLI.
