The Near-Real-Time DMSP SSM/I-SSMIS Daily Polar Gridded Brightness Temperatures, Version 1 data set, will be retired from the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC) on 30 April 2023. Upon retirement, data will no longer be accessible. All related documentation will remain available on the data set web page for future reference. Alternatively, we recommend using the newest version of the Near-Real-Time DMSP SSM/I-SSMIS Daily Polar Gridded Brightness Temperatures (https://nsidc.org/data/nsidc-0080/versions/2), which is available in netCDF-4 format.
