The ATLAS/ICESat-2 L3A ATL07QL, ATL08QL, ATL09QL, and ATL10QL expedited latency data sets, accessible through the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC), have been experiencing data gaps and delays since Monday, 19 January 2023. NASA’s EOS Data and Operations System (EDOS) is currently investigating the issue. We apologize for any inconvenience.
The data sets, which include sea ice height, land and vegetation height, atmospheric layer characteristics, and sea ice freeboard, are typically provided to users within 3 days of satellite observation. These expedited data are part of NASA's Land, Atmosphere Near real-time Capability for EOS (LANCE) program.
The NSIDC DAAC provides access to documentation and the Version 6 data sets from the following locations.
