The Submarine Arctic Science Program (SCICEX) is pleased to announce the re-release of sea ice draft data from the 2011 USS Connecticut and USS New Hampshire SCICEX campaign. These data were previously released in 2014 but were found to contain errors. The data have been reprocessed and are now available to users. In addition, the 2014 sea ice draft data from the USS New Mexico cruise have also been released. The 2014 sea ice draft data from the USS Hampton cruise are still pending and will be released when processing is complete. These data were acquired with upward looking sonar on US Navy submarines traveling under the Arctic Ocean in March and April of 2011 and 2014, respectively. The SCICEX program is also pleased to announce the release of bathymetry data for the 2016 campaign from the USS Hampton cruise. The data from the USS Hartford 2016 cruise are pending and will be released when processing is complete. These data were acquired with downward looking sonar on US Navy submarines traveling under the Arctic Ocean in March and April of 2016. Learn more about SCICEX data.
