New Version for Daily Global Land Parameters Derived from AMSRE and AMSR2

The Daily Global Land Parameters Derived from AMSRE and AMSR2, Version 2 data set is now available at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC). The Version 2 data were processed for the complete AMSRE operational record (19 June 2002 to 4 October 2011) and part of the AMSR2 record (24 July 2012 to 30 June 2017), with planned updates and LPDR continuity enabled from continuing AMSR2 operations. The associated version 2 algorithms were revised from the prior version 1 algorithm (Jones et al, 2010) and as detailed in the literature by Du et al., 2014, 2015 and 2016) and summarized in (Du et al., 2017).
