NASA SnowEx17 SnowMicroPen (SMP) Raw Penetration Force Profiles data are now available at the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC). This data set contains raw penetration force profiles measured at snow pits and along linear transects at Grand Mesa, Colorado using the SMP, a digital snow penetrometer.
