The ATLAS/ICESat-2 L3A Ocean Surface Height, Version 2 (ATL12) data set, accessible through the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC), has been updated from a basic to a comprehensive level of service.
ATL12 contains along-track sea surface heights at variable length scales over cloud-free regions. Estimates of height distributions, surface roughness, surface slope, and apparent reflectance are also provided. Data are available beginning 13 October 2018 and may have gaps in coverage due to processing lag times, which are expected to be filled in over time.
