The ATLAS/ICESat-2 L3A Sea Ice Height Quick Look (ATL07QL), Version 6 and ATLAS/ICESat-2 L3A Sea Ice Freeboard Quick Look (ATL10QL), Version 6 data sets, accessible through the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC), have been updated. Beginning 25 May 2023, the sea ice concentration data used in processing ATL07QL Version 6 and ATL10QL Version 6 were switched from AMSR-E/AMSR2 Unified L3 Daily 12.5 km Brightness Temperatures, Sea Ice Concentration, Motion & Snow Depth Polar Grids, Version 1 to Near-Real-Time NOAA/NSIDC Climate Data Record of Passive Microwave Sea Ice Concentration, Version 2. ATL07QL and ATL10QL are part of NASA's Land, Atmosphere Near real-time Capability for EOS (LANCE) program.
