The SMAP Radiometer Twice-Daily rSIR-Enhanced EASE-Grid 2.0 Brightness Temperatures, Version 2 data set accessible through the NASA National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC), is now available. The data set has been reprocessed using SMAP L1B Radiometer Half-Orbit Time-Ordered Brightness Temperatures, Version 5 as input. This input is different enough from version 1 that users should not mix gridded version 1 and 2 data. New data have been added so the data set now spans 31 March 2015 to 30 April 2021. Temporal updates will be carried out on an annual basis. The data are being produced in near-real-time, so if you require the data before it is delivered to the DAAC please contact nsidc@nsidc.org for more details.
This data set contains twice-daily, enhanced-resolution brightness temperature data derived from the SMAP radiometer.
