The Annual State of the Climate Report

The Annual State of the Climate Report This report from the American Meteorological Society is now available. Chapter 5, The Poles, summarizes the the 2007 climate of Antarctica and the Arctic relative to years past. This report is translated into other languages and distributed to all 187 World Meteorological Organization member nations. The State of the Climate Report seeks to report on as many of the essential climate variables as possible as identified by GCOS Second Adequacy Report.
