Candida Dewes

Candida Dewes is the Technical Writers Lead at the NASA NSIDC DAAC. She manages the team of Technical Writers and serves as Product Owner of Dataset Documentation, leading projects to improve NSIDC's user guides and other technical documents. As a member of the NSIDC DAAC Data Stewardship Team, she leads efforts to develop, improve, and promote guidelines and processes related to data production, publication, and preservation. She also serves as the DAAC Data Accession Coordinator, managing reviews of data sets submitted for publication at the NSIDC DAAC.

Dewes brings over two decades of experience branching scientific investigation, data production, and more recently, data stewardship. She's committed to broadening public access to climate data and the appreciation of Earth's frozen regions.
